For an established trading company on the southern outskirts of Vienna, we are seeking a dedicated addition to our existing finance and accounting team. In this position, you will take on diverse tasks in ongoing accounting and will be particularly responsible for accounts payable.

• You will handle ongoing accounting tasks, with a particular focus on the accounts payable area
• Incoming invoices will be carefully reviewed, assigned to the correct accounts, coded, and recorded in the system by you
• You will process travel expenses, reimbursements, and credit card statements
• Preparing and executing payment runs is also part of your responsibilities
• You will monitor open items and accounts, and independently perform necessary reconciliations
• You will actively contribute to the maintenance and updating of supplier, customer, and accounting master data
• You will assist in correctly assigning invoices to cost centers and the relevant internal departments
• As part of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, you will handle preparatory tasks, including accruals and deferrals
• You will maintain ongoing communication with internal departments as well as suppliers and other external contacts
• You will contribute your ideas to make accounting processes more efficient, digital, and automated
• You will work with electronic invoicing processes and modern ERP solutions

• A commercial education forms the basis of your expertise—ideally supplemented by an accounting qualification or certification
• You have already gained practical experience in accounting and are familiar with the processes of ongoing bookkeeping
• You feel confident in the accounts payable area and enjoy working with precision and diligence
• Working with numbers and understanding accounting relationships comes naturally to you
• You are proficient in using common MS Office applications; knowledge of SAP or a comparable ERP system is a plus
• Accuracy and a sense of responsibility are second nature to you

A minimum salary of EUR 42,000 gross per year is offered, along with attractive benefits in a stable company. Willingness to pay above this amount is present and depends on your qualifications.
