Your Responsibilities

• You independently design, plan, execute, and document IT audits in accordance with recognized international auditing standards
• You conduct risk-based audits of IT systems, IT processes, and technical control mechanisms, deriving robust audit findings
• You create and analyze evaluations, key performance indicators, and risk assessments, identifying potential for improvement
• You handle the preparation, execution, and follow-up of audit documentation, ensuring audit-compliant documentation of your audit procedures and results
• You contribute to the creation, further development, and documentation of the annual audit plan
• You formulate meaningful audit reports, present findings to the audited departments, and derive traceable recommendations for action
• You support recurring reporting and control tasks within Internal Audit

Your Profile

• You hold a completed relevant degree, ideally at master’s level, for example in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration with a focus on IT, or a comparable field. A bachelor’s degree is also possible
• You have at least 7 years of relevant professional experience in IT auditing, IT audit, financial auditing, IT governance, IT risk, or IT compliance
• You have already independently audited IT systems, IT processes, or technical control environments
• You possess a solid technical understanding and can critically assess IT matters, not just formally document them
• You are familiar with typical audit areas such as Change Management, Deployment, Software Development, IT General Controls, Authorizations, IT Operations, Virtualization, Backup, Restore, Incident Management, and Patch Management
• You hold a CISA certification
• You are proficient in using MS Office and ideally familiar with audit-specific software solutions or audit management tools
• You work in a structured, precise, and risk-oriented manner and can document audit results in a revision-proof way
• You confidently engage with business units, IT managers, and senior management, and can represent even critical findings objectively and persuasively
• You have excellent German language skills, both written and verbal

Desirable

• Knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, or comparable frameworks
• Experience in auditing SAP systems or SAP authorizations
• Additional certifications such as CIA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, or comparable qualifications
• Experience with data analysis, KPI dashboards, or audit-related reporting
• Experience with IT forensic issues
