What to expect:

• You will take over the administration, installation, and maintenance of server/client infrastructures in Windows and Linux environments
• You will ensure smooth IT operations and system availability, including monitoring, backup, and security
• You will independently handle support requests on-site or remotely in the helpdesk
• You will be responsible for the configuration and monitoring of IT security, including user rights, firewalls, etc.
• You will develop and implement IT processes and guidelines
• You will be responsible for the selection, procurement, and configuration of IT components
• You will document infrastructure, processes, and projects
• You will be tasked with adapting and creating smaller programs or scripts for automation and system support, e.g., with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• You will identify and resolve technical bottlenecks and vulnerabilities

What you bring to the table:

• You have completed vocational training in IT, e.g., apprenticeship, HTL, or a comparable qualification
• You have several years of professional experience in IT, ideally as an IT generalist
• You bring expertise in system administration and IT support
• You have initial experience in scripting or programming, e.g., with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• You have an interest in new technologies and personal development
• You are proficient in German at least at C1 level and English at B1 level
• You are characterized by analytical thinking, a hands-on mentality, and a passion for solving problems
• Ideally, you hold a category B driving license, enabling you to cover both locations in Vienna and Lower Austria

For the advertised position, the minimum salary for experienced colleagues is €4,100 gross per month for full-time employment. Higher pay is possible depending on experience and qualifications.
