As a System Architect, you will develop the foundations for the next generations of solar and energy systems together with interdisciplinary teams, aligning market requirements, technology, and customer needs with innovation.

Your Responsibilities:

• As part of our dedicated System Architecture team in Technical Product Management for Solar & Energy, you will further develop the system architecture and technical concepts for existing and future solar and energy systems.
• You translate requirements from the market, product management, and customer feedback into innovative, holistic system-level solutions, ensuring in particular the optimal integration and interaction of system components.
• In doing so, you actively drive solution-finding, bring together different perspectives, incorporate the expertise of relevant departments, and thus create viable decisions for sustainable, innovative, robust, and scalable architecture concepts.
• Your technical focus lies on data management, supportability, as well as software and firmware updates. In this context, you particularly consider aspects of data security and AI integration, and create the architectural foundations for data-driven functions and intelligent service concepts in our energy systems.
• With your holistic view, you ensure that our products meet future requirements and continue to inspire our customers sustainably.

Your Profile:

• Completed higher technical education (HTL, university of applied sciences, university) in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in the development of complex mechatronic, software-related, or networked systems, as well as a solid understanding of system architectures
• Experience in requirements engineering and the structured derivation of technical solutions from market, customer, and product requirements
• Knowledge of systems engineering methods is an advantage
• Understanding of data management, support for distributed energy systems, software and firmware update processes, and their significance for modern, networked products
• You think holistically, recognize interrelationships across system boundaries, and maintain an overview even with complex issues
• You convince through analytical thinking, initiative, and decisiveness, and communicate technical contexts in an understandable and audience-appropriate manner
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken

Our wages and salaries are above the collective agreement (KV) of the electrical and electronics industry. The KV minimum values range between €3,888.53 and €4,993.21 – with a willingness to pay above this. The exact amount depends on your qualifications and experience.
