Your Responsibilities

• Economic responsibility for your specialist area and implementation of the company strategy in close coordination with the management
• Optimisation of recipe costs while complying with current standards and guidelines, including the evaluation of new concepts
• Development of special building materials and innovative concretes
• Active support of the sales team at Rohrdorfer Transportbeton, Umwelttechnik and Sand & Kies to promote and maintain customer and supplier relationships
• Leadership and further development of the laboratory team, consisting of technologists and laboratory assistants
• Responsibility for quality assurance in the areas of transport concrete, sand & gravel, and environmental technology
• Representation of the Rohrdorfer Group in specialist committees
• Active contribution of your expertise in the development of industry-relevant regulations, particularly standards and guidelines

Your Profile

• Completed technical degree, for example in civil engineering, geology, materials science or a comparable field
• At least five years of experience in a leadership role with comprehensive responsibility and personnel management
• Ideally, experience within the building materials industry or in related sectors such as industry or construction
• Sound experience in the development/contribution to regulations (standards, guidelines, etc.) as well as business management expertise
• Strong connection to the region and excellent regional market knowledge
• High degree of personal responsibility, entrepreneurial thinking and customer orientation
