Your Area of Responsibility

• Strategic leadership and further development of the North/East region
• Implementation of corporate goals and active shaping of regional healthcare structures
• Overall responsibility for planning and organizing hospital operations as well as establishing efficient structures
• Leadership and management of specialist directorates and personnel management
• Agreement of strategic goals with department heads and specialist directors as well as management of economic target achievement
• Representation of the North/East region and fulfillment of statutory corporate responsibilities

Your Profile

• At least six years of leadership experience with responsibility for personnel, budget, and strategic management
• In-depth knowledge of the Austrian healthcare system or comparable international experience
• Strategic and entrepreneurial competence in managing complex organizations
• Strong implementation skills and decision-making ability in the further development of structures and processes
• Excellent communication and leadership skills in dealing with various stakeholders
• Very good German and English language skills (minimum level B2)
• Relevant university or university of applied sciences degree, high school diploma (Matura) or equivalent qualification, or a technical/technical-economic education such as HTL or completed/recognized training with a focus on medicine and nursing – e.g., as a general practitioner or specialist physician, healthcare and nursing including leadership/management training through a university course in hospital management

The starting salary, given at least six years of management experience, is at least salary grade 4, €10,694.51 gross (14 payments per year, 40 hours per week), classification: MG I (W1/23) (Vienna Civil Servants Act).
