YOUR FUTURE AND EXCITING FIELD OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Preparation of energy yield and site assessments as well as evaluation of wind measurements (met mast, LiDAR) and operational data
• Performing data analyses with Python, particularly quality control, long-term corrections (MCP), and comparison of model and measurement data
• Automation of processes and development of efficient analysis workflows
• Further development of our in-house analysis libraries, including testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and releases
• Development and enhancement of our own CFD chain based on OpenFOAM, including cloud computing and validation using reference projects
• Independent assumption of project management tasks and responsibility for defined sub-projects
• Collaboration in the accredited area of the EWS Testing Center
• Preparation of test reports in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025

EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED HERE

• Technical education, completed degree in a technical field (e.g., Technical Physics, Meteorology, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science)
• Strong Python skills in data analysis (e.g., pandas, NumPy) as well as experience with Git and automated testing
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions), Linux, or cloud computing is an advantage
• Willingness to travel for work on a daily basis; a Class B driving license is therefore required
• A structured, precise, and independent way of working
• Enjoyment of delving into new topics and building specialized knowledge
• Excellent German and good English skills
