Your Responsibilities

• You work closely with our customers, the air traffic controllers, ensuring their requirements are understood, aligned, and successfully implemented.
• You plan, implement, and integrate safety-critical systems during ongoing operations, taking into account operational, economic, and regulatory frameworks.
• You define and coordinate service requirements for a highly available 24/7 operation in collaboration with internal and external partners.
• You actively contribute to system architectures, participate in exciting projects, or take on their leadership.
• You keep an eye on technological developments, are familiar with relevant national and international regulations, and ensure their reliable implementation.
• You analyze technical and process-related challenges, provide 3rd-level support, and drive the sustainable optimization of our systems and services.
• You support tenders, technical evaluations, and procurement processes, helping to select the best possible solutions for our systems and services.

Your Profile

• You hold a technical university or university of applied sciences degree, ideally with a focus on Electronics & Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable field, and bring several years of professional experience.
• You have experience with Linux operating systems, automation and scripting, server systems, and MS Office.
• Additional knowledge in virtualization, containerization, orchestration, and IT security rounds out your profile.
• Experience in the architecture, design, and operation of highly available, safety-critical systems (e.g., in Air Navigation Services and Aviation) as well as in project management is an advantage.
• You possess strong analytical skills and enjoy evaluating data as well as systematically identifying and resolving errors. Terms like Systems Engineering and Requirements Engineering are very familiar to you.
• You work in a structured, solution-oriented, and independent manner. You think beyond service and system boundaries, and can communicate complex relationships clearly.
• You are a committed, open, and team-oriented individual with a high degree of initiative and a strong customer focus. Additionally, you are motivated to work in an international environment.
• You communicate confidently and professionally in both German and English, both verbally and in writing.
• You keep a cool head even in challenging situations and are prepared to implement changes in a safety-critical environment, including during night shifts if necessary.

After a training period, we offer a gross annual salary of at least EUR 97,500, depending on your professional experience (based on the specified working hours).
