As Managing Director of the GmbH, you share overall responsibility with the Commercial Management for the strategy, management, and financial results of EBG MedAustron and, in this role, are a member of the Leader Board. As Medical Director in accordance with the Lower Austrian Hospitals Act, you professionally and operationally lead the medical operations, ensure the quality of structure, process, and outcomes, and further develop our treatment portfolio as well as our network with partner institutions and referrers. Together with your leadership team comprising physicians, nursing staff, radiology technologists, administration, medical physics, and clinical studies, you lead and develop the medical and nursing personnel, expand the medical team and its structures, and promote interdisciplinary collaboration. You are responsible for the strategic positioning and leadership of EBG MedAustron’s clinical research, including its national and international networking, and represent the company as a center of excellence in particle therapy within the professional community, to authorities and committees, as well as in the socio-political environment. As Managing Director, you bear the overall entrepreneurial responsibility of a privately managed public company, actively shape our quality management system, and ensure the ongoing implementation of relevant legal requirements as well as the responsibilities of a medical device manufacturer.
