Job Description

- Responsibility for the group-wide data architecture and target visions, as well as their translation into actionable architecture principles, standards, and roadmaps - Technical and functional leadership in the selection and implementation of a modern data platform - Joint definition of standards for data integration, data governance, and data quality in close collaboration with data owners from the business units, Corporate Information Security, and Enterprise Architecture - Technical consulting for business units on reporting, analytics, and AI initiatives, as well as the evaluation and classification of new requirements within the data architecture - Management of external implementation partners and technology providers - Continuous further development of the data platform based on the corporate strategy, business unit requirements, and technological advancements

Requirements

- Degree or studies in computer science, data engineering, or business informatics - Several years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or data platforms - Knowledge of modern data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake) - Experience with data modeling, data products, metadata management, access and authorization concepts, as well as modern integration patterns - Analytical, structured, and communicative personality - Excellent German and English skills
