Technical Product Manager for Special Vehicle Manufacturing (m/f/x)

Establishment and Industrialization of a New Strategic Business Field

 

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

• Take over an existing product portfolio in special vehicle manufacturing and assume overall responsibility for know-how transfer, including structuring and documenting existing product and production knowledge
• Develop an end-to-end process from customer request to delivery
• Industrialize customer-specific vehicle bodies and develop modular product platforms and standardized variants
• Technical project management of pilot and ramp-up projects
• Coordinate interfaces between design, production, assembly, procurement, and management
• Evaluate suitable digital systems as well as potential ERP, PDM, PLM, and configuration solutions
• Co-shape the product portfolio, prepare a scalable organization, and prospectively build your own team

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed technical education in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, production or process engineering, or a similar field
• Several years of relevant professional experience in vehicle or special vehicle manufacturing, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, technical project management, or production industrialization
• Solid understanding of technical drawings and ability to design simple components
• Experience with special manufacturing, lot size 1, or customer-specific products is an advantage
• Understanding of digital production and engineering processes as well as digital product documentation
• Experience in managing technical project teams and very good German and good English skills
• Down-to-earth, pragmatic, and entrepreneurial personality with technical curiosity, assertiveness, and a hands-on mentality

For this position, our client offers an annual gross salary of approximately 90,000 euros, with a willingness to pay above this amount depending on specific qualifications and experience.
