Our client is one of the leading companies in European retail, combining the dynamism of a well-known brand with the structures of an internationally operating group. In this diverse key position, you will take on responsibility for national tax matters, support relevant business cases and transactions, and actively develop existing tax and control processes. You will work closely with various departments, Group Tax, and external partners, contributing your expertise where it creates sustainable impact.

• Handling national tax matters with a focus on VAT, corporate tax, and transfer pricing
• Performing effective and deferred tax calculations and preparing documentation for tax returns
• Providing tax support for projects, business cases, and cross-border transactions
• Ensuring tax compliance and monitoring legislative changes and tax risks
• Contributing to the internal tax control system and supporting tax audits in collaboration with departments, Group Tax, and external advisors

• Completed degree in business administration with a focus on taxation or a comparable qualification 
• Several years of professional experience in taxation, ideally in an international environment 
• Completed or advanced qualification as a tax advisor is an advantage 
• Excellent Excel and ERP skills, SAP knowledge is a plus, as well as fluent English 
• Analytical, structured, and independent way of working, along with strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
