In this position, you will take operational responsibility for defined raw material and direct materials groups and ensure a reliable supply of materials.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operational planning and scheduling: You will manage defined raw material groups and continuously monitor material availability, coverage, inventory levels, requirements, and delivery dates.
• Focus on raw materials: Your primary focus will be on raw materials; on a deputizing basis, you will also handle tasks related to packaging as well as technical and other product groups.
• Orders & call-offs: Based on ERP data, current requirements, stock levels, and lead times, you will proactively and efficiently manage orders and call-offs.
• Don’t just rely on the system: You will critically review system and order suggestions, identify unusual demand trends early, and investigate the root causes together with internal and external partners.
• Delivery dates under control: You will monitor order confirmations and delivery dates, actively and reliably managing suppliers and logistics providers in a solution-oriented manner.
• Prevent shortages instead of managing them: You will identify potential supply risks early, set priorities, escalate where necessary, and initiate appropriate countermeasures in a timely manner.
• Data & transparency: You will continuously work on data quality, scheduling routines, bottleneck overviews, and meaningful KPIs.
• Shaping digitalization: You will actively contribute your experience to the further development and automation of operational procurement processes, as well as the meaningful use of modern digital and AI-supported tools.

Your profile – procurement expertise meets analytical thinking

For this position, we are not looking for mere order processing but a professional who recognizes interdependencies, thinks ahead, and takes responsibility.

Ideally, you bring the following:

• Several years of relevant professional experience in operational procurement or a supply environment
• Additional experience in scheduling, supply chain, logistics, or production planning is an advantage
• A strong understanding of material availability, coverage, inventory levels, minimum quantities, lead times, priorities, and escalation paths
• Confident use of ERP systems; experience with SAP MM, MRP, or comparable inventory and demand logic systems is particularly welcome
• Excellent Excel and data skills
• Experience with dashboards, Power BI, SAP Analytics, or comparable analysis tools is an added plus
• Industry experience with raw materials or direct materials, ideally from FMCG, food, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, or a manufacturing company
• A structured, precise, and pragmatic approach to work
• Clear and reliable communication, as well as the ability to consistently manage suppliers, logistics providers, and internal interfaces
• Enjoyment of working with numbers, data, and analytical relationships
• Interest in digitalization, automation, and modern AI applications in operational procurement

For this position, an annual gross salary starting from €58,000 is offered, with a clear willingness to pay significantly more based on relevant qualifications and professional experience.
