Your job, you…

• are responsible for the operational management of selected security-relevant platform and infrastructure services and ensure their availability, stability, and security level in a rail-critical environment.
  
• manage and monitor central security systems such as firewall infrastructures including rule set and policy management (e.g., with Tufin) as well as connected perimeter and network security services.
  
• contribute to the operation of DNS, DDI, and name resolution services and ensure their secure and stable use for productive systems.
  
• operate and evaluate Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) as well as connected protective mechanisms for detecting and defending against security-relevant incidents.
  
• contribute to the operation and further development of solutions for external authentication (Entrust) and PKI-/HSM-based services, ensuring their correct and secure use.
  
• manage web proxy infrastructures and support the implementation of security, access, and compliance requirements in ongoing operations.
  
• assess security-relevant events, risks, and anomalies in ongoing operations (particularly in network, perimeter, and platform environments) and initiate appropriate measures to minimize risks.
  
• work closely with internal operations, platform, and security teams (including SOC services) and act as a central interface between operations, security governance, and technical departments.
  
• support the handling of security incidents, particularly in the context of firewall, DNS, IPS, PKI, and authentication services, and contribute to sustainable root cause resolution.
  
• ensure compliance with relevant security policies, guidelines, and standards in operational platform management and accompany audits as well as security assessments.
  
• actively participate in daily operations and apply your hands-on experience to ensure the stable operation of productive systems.
  
• are part of an on-call duty roster for your responsible area.
