- are responsible for the independent, stable, secure, and highly available operation of central security platforms and infrastructure services in a rail-critical environment and continuously develop them further.
- take on the technical management, evaluation, and optimization of complex security architectures, particularly in the area of firewall infrastructures, including rule and policy management (e.g., Tufin), as well as associated perimeter and network security services.
- lead the design, operation, and further development of DNS, DDI, and name resolution services, ensuring their sustainable security and stability.
- are responsible for the strategic and operational deployment of Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) and other protective mechanisms for the early detection and defense against security-critical events.
- play a central role in the operation and further development of external authentication platforms (e.g., Entrust) and PKI-/HSM-based security services, ensuring their secure integration into the corporate landscape.
- manage the operation of web proxy infrastructures and are responsible for the implementation and further development of security, compliance, and access policies.
- analyze and assess complex security-relevant events, threats, and risks in the operational environment and independently derive sustainable measures for risk minimization and system hardening.
- act as a central technical interface between operations, security governance, SOC, architecture, and external partners, taking on a coordinating and advisory role.
- manage and support the handling of security incidents (particularly in the areas of firewall, DNS, IPS, PKI, authentication) and ensure a sustainable root-cause analysis and lessons learned implementation.
- are responsible for compliance with and further development of security policies, standards, and governance requirements in operational processes and actively support audits, assessments, and regulatory reviews.
- actively contribute your expertise to architecture decisions, projects, and transformation initiatives and help drive the strategic development of security operations.

Your profile, you…
- have a completed technical education (e.g., computer science, IT security, business informatics) or comparable extensive professional experience.
- bring extensive and multi-year experience in security operations or IT operations of complex infrastructures, ideally in the areas of firewall, DNS, proxy, authentication, and PKI systems.
- have in-depth technical understanding of network, perimeter, and security architectures as well as certificate- and key-based infrastructures (PKI/HSM).
- have experience in analyzing and evaluating complex security incidents and threat scenarios, as well as in deriving sustainable countermeasures.
