This position is available both full-time and part-time (minimum 25 hours per week).
Your Role
As a Legal Advisor to the Business Unit Management, you will work directly with the management team of ÖBB Terminal Service Austria (TSA), supporting them in various topics related to the professional management and coordination of terminals across Austria to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
You will act as an interface to various stakeholders and independently handle professional (including legal) topics and projects.
- Provide professional support to the business unit management in the ongoing operation of terminals and contribute to their success through your expertise.
- Independently take on challenging professional development tasks.
- Prepare various issues independently, involve relevant experts, and consolidate information and data for decision-ready presentations to management or the business unit leadership.
- Analyze and handle legal matters related to operational business cases (contract design, damage management, customer agreements), as well as monitor legal developments relevant to terminal operations.
- Conduct reviews as part of risk management to support stable and compliant transport and logistics processes at the terminals.
- Monitor relevant KPIs, derive measures for continuous improvement, and actively participate in deviation management.
- Assess the feasibility of performance requirements in terms of resources and provide legal support to terminal managers.
- Contribute to professional projects and collaborate closely with internal and external interfaces.
- Manage the internal control system (ICS) and support funding topics/R&D.
- Coordinate trade law matters and data protection.
Your Profile

- You are proficient in MS Office and communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing.
- You have a very good understanding of legal frameworks and can apply this knowledge practically to operational issues.
- You are characterized by an independent, precise, and solution-oriented way of working, and maintain an overview even with complex topics.
- You always think in a service- and customer-oriented manner and impress with your sense of responsibility.
- Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor when dealing with internal and external interfaces, managers, and experts are among your strengths.
