As an application developer for C++ on Linux systems, you will work on the development and optimization of software for our welding equipment controls and contribute your technical expertise to exciting projects.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, implementation, and optimization of new software features for our Linux-based welding equipment
• New and further development of applications as well as continuous improvement of existing software architectures
• Analysis, troubleshooting, and sustainable resolution of software errors
• Development and execution of unit tests as well as performance of functional tests for quality assurance
• Evaluation of new technologies and solution approaches as well as co-design of future-proof development processes
• Close collaboration with hardware development and testing teams to create holistic solutions

Your profile:

• Completed technical education (HTL/University of Applied Sciences/University) in software development, embedded development, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
• Initial professional experience in software development, ideally in an embedded environment
• Strong Linux knowledge and solid C++ skills; kernel knowledge is an advantage
• Interest in Linux operating systems
• Independent work style as well as the ability to proactively structure tasks and complete them autonomously

Our wages and salaries are above the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) of the electrical and electronics industry. The CBA minimum values range between €3,449.08 and €4,993.21 – with a willingness to pay above this. The exact amount depends on your qualifications and experience.
