Responsibilities

In this key position, you will assume overall responsibility for the areas of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Compliance, and Financial Crime Prevention. This includes, in particular, the compliance functions WAG, AML/CFT, and Sanctions, as well as responsibility for the Group-wide Money Laundering Reporting Officer. Together with your team, you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and act as a sparring partner for the Executive Board, management, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Law, Business Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in AML, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, or Financial Crime, ideally in a bank or financial institution
  • In-depth knowledge of Austrian and European banking supervisory law as well as regulatory requirements in the field of anti-money laundering
  • Proven experience in collaborating with the Financial Market Authority (FMA) and in supporting supervisory audits and special examinations
  • Confident handling of regulatory requirements, findings, and measures as well as their sustainable implementation
  • Strong understanding of governance, risk, and control systems
  • Strategic mindset, assertiveness, and a high sense of responsibility
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor toward the Executive Board, Supervisory Board, and authorities
