As a Rail Vehicle Technology Engineer in the Engineering and Innovation department, you will assume technical responsibility for vehicle series in the field of electric and diesel locomotives.
At the Graz location, your focus will be on electric locomotives for international traffic, particularly on connections to Italy and Slovenia. You can expect a diverse and responsible field of activity at the interface of technical development, maintenance, warranty management, and modern train control systems.   • take on the technical support and further development of vehicle series at the location and train control systems.
  • perform technical tasks in accordance with the ECM-II function and support the continuous improvement of maintenance.

  • support maintenance workshops in analyzing complex fault patterns and contribute your expertise to challenging technical issues.
  • manage and handle topics related to modern train control systems such as ETCS, MIREL, SHT, ATB, and TBL.
  • ensure smooth operational data collection by defining software versions, data flows, and evaluations.
  • identify optimization potential, initiate improvement measures, and thus contribute to the technical advancement and high availability of the vehicle fleet.
