Main Areas of Responsibility:

• Overall responsibility for technical matters – from project acquisition to the ongoing operation of heating centres
• Development and implementation of holistic energy concepts in conjunction with renewable energy sources together with group and project partners (considering economic and technical aspects)
• Coordination of planning, construction and commissioning as well as management of external and internal project stakeholders
• Point of contact for customers and property management companies regarding technical questions and in challenging operational situations
• Ensuring stable, economical and efficient plant operation as well as continuous technical optimisation of existing systems
• Sparring with the commercial management
• Direct reporting line to the (legal) executive management

Requirements Profile:

• Completed technical education (HTL, university of applied sciences or university)
• Trade licence in the field of sanitary, heating and ventilation engineering, trade and energy supply either already held or immediately registrable/obtainable
• Several years of qualified professional experience in the HVAC sector, in any case also in energy supply or the operation of heating centres (district heating, gas, heat pump, pellets)
• Profound technical expertise in HVAC as well as solid basic knowledge in measurement and control technology and building management systems
• Understanding of business management, decisiveness and experience in dealing with investors and property developers
• Confident handling of relevant standards, guidelines and laws, e.g. HeizKG
• Fluent in German, knowledge of English
• Good MS Office or Microsoft 365 user skills as well as experience with industry-specific software
• Strong communicator, team-oriented personality with a structured way of working and a focus on optimising existing systems as well as identifying new opportunities
• Sales, presentation and organisational skills, leadership qualities, high level of self-motivation and personal responsibility, entrepreneurial "hands-on" personality
