Job Description
You are the driving force behind the overarching success of our global intralogistics projects. As Head of Project Management, you will lead and develop our project management team while maintaining a strategic overview of the entire project portfolio. You will optimize existing structures, align internal and external management-level interests, and act as a key liaison to senior management. In this pivotal role, you will create the framework for the successful realization of international large-scale projects. Your responsibilities: - Professional and disciplinary leadership as well as targeted development of the project management team - Responsibility for the strategic control and monitoring of the entire project portfolio (resources, schedules, costs, quality) - Direct management of key projects - Continuous development, standardization, and optimization of project management processes, methods, and tools - Active support for your team during critical project phases, complex contract negotiations, and claim/change order management - Close coordination and interface management with Sales, Engineering, Assembly, and Executive Management - Travel of approximately 10% for important project milestones domestically and abroadRequirements
- Completed technical and/or business education (e.g., mechanical engineering, automation technology, industrial engineering, mechatronics, etc.) - Several years of solid professional experience in managing complex large-scale projects, ideally in plant engineering or intralogistics - Leadership experience and strong methodological competence in project management (certifications such as IPMA, PMI, etc. are an advantage) - Entrepreneurial thinking, strategic action, and strong negotiation skills - Excellent English language skills for the international environment - Confident demeanor and strong assertiveness - Passion for shared success, team development, and interest in new technologiesAdditional Information
