Tasks:

• Performing static calculations for building construction, civil engineering, industrial, and infrastructure structures with a focus on concrete construction
• Creating structural models and FEM-supported internal force calculations
• Designing components with fiber-reinforced polymer reinforcements in accordance with applicable regulations, standards, and specialized literature
• Developing and elaborating reinforcement concepts based on modern, robotic, and automated reinforcement technologies
• Collaborating on research and development projects related to innovative, basalt-reinforced concrete components
• Professional representation of the company to project partners, research institutions, and external stakeholders
• Participation in committees, working groups, and cooperations with technical universities
• Taking on internal project management tasks and actively shaping technical standards

Your Profile:

• Completed degree in civil engineering, ideally from a technical university or university of applied sciences, or a comparable qualification with a focus on structural analysis or structural design
• Several years of professional experience as a structural engineer, structural designer, or calculation engineer within the EU
• Excellent knowledge of European standards and regulations in concrete construction
• Solid experience with structural analysis and calculation software as well as FE analysis programs, such as ANSYS, Abaqus, RFEM, SOFiSTiK, or comparable tools
• Programming skills are an advantage, particularly in connection with automated calculation or modeling processes
• Experience in project management and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Structured, precise, and independent work approach
• Enthusiasm for innovation, research, and the development of new technical solutions
• Teamwork skills, strong communication abilities, and willingness to take on responsibility
• Local flexibility for the work location in Leoben or Vienna
