YOU

- lead global procurement projects of high strategic relevance and are responsible for their planning, management, and successful implementation with a special focus on the procurement markets of China & Southeast Asia

- guide interdisciplinary and cross-location project teams and work closely with our procurement organization in China as well as other partners in the region

- keep the target vision, priorities, dependencies, and risks constantly in view, provide orientation in complex issues, and ensure sustainable project success

- analyze cost structures, calculation models, and procurement markets in China & Southeast Asia and develop robust foundations for make-or-buy and supplier decisions

- prepare management and committee decisions, moderate demanding coordination processes, and bring together different perspectives, cultures, and interests to form joint solutions

Requirements

WE

- value a completed degree in Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification as well as several years of professional experience in project management

- appreciate experience in the procurement markets of China, Southeast Asia, or the APAC region as well as an understanding of regional market mechanisms, business practices, and supplier structures

- expect a structured, analytical, and conceptual approach to work as well as the ability to maintain an overview and clearly set priorities even in complex situations

- are looking for a strong communicator with an entrepreneurial mindset, initiative, and a pronounced understanding of business

- require convincing German and English skills as well as willingness to travel – knowledge of Chinese is an advantage
