YOU

- develop and are responsible for the procurement strategy of your product category and derive measures to ensure long-term competitiveness, supply security, and value creation

- prepare make-or-buy decisions, support new projects and product launches from a procurement perspective, and contribute your expertise early in development and sourcing projects

- identify new procurement potential based on market, cost, and risk analyses, implement value analysis and cost optimization measures, and are responsible for price, contract, and terms negotiations

- shape strategic supplier management together with internal departments, are responsible for the selection, qualification, development, and evaluation of suppliers, and continuously further develop a high-performance international supplier portfolio

Requirements

WE

- value a completed degree in business, economics, or engineering. Alternatively, you bring a commercial or technical qualification with several years of professional experience in strategic procurement, ideally in an international industrial environment

- are looking for a strong communicator and negotiator with technical understanding, entrepreneurial thinking, and enthusiasm for international procurement markets

- expect a structured and analytical approach as well as the ability to assess technical, qualitative, and economic requirements and derive well-founded decisions

- operate in an international procurement environment – therefore, we require convincing German and English skills as well as a willingness to travel
