YOU

- develop global strategies and future concepts for steel procurement and shape their implementation together with our international locations

- analyze market, technology, sustainability, and regulatory trends as well as changes in global trade flows, and derive strategic options for action from them

- evaluate new procurement and business models as well as opportunities for cooperation, partnerships, and the further development of global supply and value chains

- connect the procurement organizations in Austria, Asia, and the USA, promote cross-location knowledge exchange, and lead international procurement and transformation projects

Requirements

WE

- value in-depth knowledge of the steel industry, several years of experience in strategic steel procurement, and a robust network with relevant market participants along the steel value chain

- expect a strong understanding of steel markets, international value chains, as well as economic, geopolitical, and regulatory interdependencies

- are looking for a strategically and entrepreneurially minded individual who can develop new procurement approaches, analyze complex issues, and actively shape change processes

- seek strong communication skills, intercultural competencies, and the ability to build international networks and successfully align diverse interests across locations and departments
