In this position at the Villach location, you will work as a Junior Technical Specialist in Signalling Technology – Regional Technical Management, responsible for facility development and the associated project management. The signalling technology sector includes our safety-related facilities (e.g., railway crossings, signals, switches, signal boxes).
Your Job
- Support the Signalling Technology project team in all activities related to the implementation of infrastructure projects during the planning and construction phases (rough planning of construction sequences and coordination with other contracts or projects).
- You will ensure technical and economic order monitoring (schedules, costs, quality).
- Responsibility for carrying out necessary operational notifications, informing local residents and authorities about construction measures, quality inspections and acceptance of externally procured services, and the settlement of project-related services including invoice verification.
- You will contribute to assigned individual projects and the handover of facilities to maintenance in collaboration with the Technical Specialists.
- Creation of documentation (construction log, evidence preservation, quality inspection, hazards of railway operations).
Your Profile
- HTL diploma, university of applied sciences or university degree (Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Telecommunications, Communications Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Technical Informatics or Facility Engineering) and ideally several years of relevant professional experience.
