In this position, as a Junior Technician in Technical Management in the Civil Engineering sector (Eastern Region 1), you will be responsible for facility development and the associated project management.

Your Job

  • As a supporting function, you will assist in the planning, implementation, and prioritization of individual technical projects, taking into account facility condition development and life-cycle costs.
  • Together with technical specialists, you will support project and construction management as well as technical and economic order monitoring in terms of costs, schedules, and quality.
  • The maintenance, upkeep, and further development of technical databases, as well as the creation and evidence-keeping of required technical documentation, will fall within your area of responsibility.
  • You will assist in the awarding, coordination, and control of external services, including random checks of maintenance and inspection work.
  • You will provide support in quality inspections, acceptance, and handover of facilities to maintenance, as well as in coordination with authorities and local residents.

Your Profile

  • Ideally, your profile includes a degree from a technical college (HTL), university of applied sciences (FH), or university (in civil engineering, structural engineering, civil works, hydraulic engineering, or water management) as well as initial relevant professional experience.
  • You enjoy collaboratively developing solutions and are happy to share your knowledge.
  • Physical and mental fitness (track suitability) will be assessed upon hiring.
  • As an internal candidate, you can provide proof of the technical examination FW/PE01 Railway and Civil Engineering Course (EBIST). As an external applicant, you are willing to complete this course.
  • You hold a Class B driver’s license and are willing to travel.
