The focus of the Technical Managing Director position lies particularly on the following:
- Leading the company in accordance with the strategic guidelines of the owners and in compliance with legal and corporate governance frameworks
- Ensuring high-quality and economically competitive maintenance of electric locomotives
- Responsibility for the integrated management system in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/779 as well as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, including the maintenance of required certifications
- Performing ECM functions 1 and 4 and coordinating interfaces with customers' ECM functions
- Exercising the function of the trade law managing director and compliance with the Trade Regulation Act
- Managing the connecting railway
- Further developing maintenance, planning, and control processes, including their monitoring
- Leading and developing employees with a special focus on occupational health and safety
- Strategic further development of the company, taking into account regulatory obligations under §58b (1) 5 of the Railway Act.
Your Profile
- Successful completion of a university degree or equivalent experience/knowledge with a technical focus
- Several years of leadership experience in a senior role within the railway or rail vehicle sector, ideally in maintenance
- Proven experience in leading and developing employees
- Strategic, service- and customer-oriented thinking and action
- Qualifications to perform ECM functions 1 and 4
- Expertise in ISO standards 9001/14001/45001
- Verifiable training in risk management
- Qualification to practice the mechatronics trade is desirable
- Knowledge of key legal frameworks related to sustainability issues and associated corporate responsibilities
