Your responsibilities:
- Planning of heat transfer piping (hot water, heating water, steam, thermal oil, etc.) based on schematics in 3D
- Performing software-supported pipe stress and pipe static calculations, considering project-specific load cases and special loads
- Creating technical documentation for pipe stress and pipe static calculations
- Generating all manufacturing-relevant data and drawings (isometrics, orthogonals, parts lists, etc.)
- Preparing and providing piping data for the plant designer
- Reporting and documenting changes due to schematic adjustments to the respective responsible party
- On-site inspection of piping in collaboration with the executing piping company
- Creating and managing databases in Plant 3D and Rohr2
- Supporting and managing the Plant 3D and Rohr2 software in close cooperation with IT and external service providers
- Performing strength calculations and coordinating with the design review authority
What you should bring:
- Completed technical education (HTL, university of applied sciences, technical university) in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, or a comparable qualification
- 1-3 years of professional experience in piping design or pipe statics, as well as pump technology (advantageous)
- Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines (e.g., EN 13480, EN 13445, AD2000)
- Experience with Plant 3D and Rohr2 or comparable systems
- Understanding of thermal and mechanical stresses in piping systems
- Structured and precise work approach as well as strong technical understanding
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Good command of German and English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage
- Willingness to travel (10%)
