As a developer in the field of Manufacturing Engineering, you are involved in the implementation of product ideas and concepts, accompanying them from prototype to handover into series production. In this role, you act as a key link between development and production, thereby making a valuable contribution to product creation. As an active member of the Manufacturing Engineering Welding team, you contribute your methodological expertise and share responsibility for the mechatronic development and technical execution of our future hose packages in the Welding business unit.

Your responsibilities:

• In your day-to-day work as a mechatronic product developer, this specifically means:
• Implementing ideas – from the initial concept to final handover into series production
• Collaboration in an interdisciplinary product development team (Design, Compliance Engineering, Power Electronics, etc.)
• Close cooperation with internal interfaces and suppliers
• Maximum focus on customer benefit and cost-effective industrialization

Your profile:

• Completed technical education (apprenticeship, HTL or equivalent) in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
• Ideally, several years of relevant professional experience in similar fields
• Prior knowledge and expertise in mechatronics or the development of technical devices are an advantage
• Strong technical understanding and affinity for product development
• You are a creative thinker with fresh ideas, enjoy actively contributing, and work with motivation and a sense of quality on innovative, cost-effective solutions
• You enjoy working in teams, are communicative, and have a confident demeanor

Our wages and salaries are above the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) for the electrical and electronics industry. The CBA minimum values range between €3,009.82 and €4,341.59 – with a willingness to pay above this. The exact amount depends on your qualifications and experience.
