We are responsible for ensuring the integrated energy supply of the ÖBB Group with all grid-bound energy sources, as well as the purchase and sale of energy within the Energy business unit.
Your Role
- As a skilled worker in the field of protection technology, you will make a significant contribution to the reliable supply of our infrastructure with green traction power, thus playing a key role in the energy and mobility transition.
- Working in a dedicated team, you will be involved in the assessment and troubleshooting of protection systems for the 15 kV and 110 kV traction power supply (ÖBB power plants, frequency converters, traction power grid, overhead line network).
- You will assist with acceptance tests and gain experience during commissioning.
- You will support the creation of uniform documentation for measurements and inspections carried out.
- After successful in-house training and specialized further education, you will independently take on the tasks/projects assigned to you.
Your Profile
- A successfully completed technical education (technical college diploma, apprenticeship in electronics/electrical engineering or equivalent).
- Basic IT user skills (Office applications).
- You are characterized by precise and responsible work in the hazardous area of high-voltage electrical systems.
- You are reliable and demonstrate a high level of commitment.
- You are flexible for assignments throughout Austria – even multi-day business trips are not a problem for you.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as a high willingness for training and further education.
- Track suitability (determined upon hiring) and alpine suitability.
- Category B driving license.
