Job Description

Digital Factory Vorarlberg GmbH (DFV), a spin-off of the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FH Vorarlberg) and AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, is a competence and transfer center for digital production technologies. Together with companies, we develop innovative solutions for digital production. Our work ranges from AI-supported data analysis to modern data spaces and intelligent data infrastructures.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated individual for an EU project focusing on cross-company data organization and data utilization starting immediately.

Your responsibilities:
Building competencies and transfer offerings in the field of data spaces, decentralized data infrastructures, and AI
Developing innovative methods and software for intelligent data processing and evaluation
Implementing research and industry projects in collaboration with corporate partners
Designing and acquiring national and international funding projects

Requirements

We require:
A completed degree in computer science with a PhD
Solid knowledge in data architectures, distributed systems, and data processing
Experience in artificial intelligence and data-based optimization
Several years of experience in research or industry projects
Enjoyment of collaboration with companies and applied research
Excellent German language skills (C1 or higher) and very good English skills
