Job Description

- Development of product requirements in collaboration with internal and external interfaces
- Independent development and design of new lighting solutions, considering material selection, commercial aspects, and relevant mechanical standards
- Integration of electrical components and sensors into the product architecture
- Promotion and consideration of new production technologies in design
- Commissioning of prototypes, organization of tests, and creation of production documentation up to release
- Leading department-internal projects for the strategic advancement of the area

Requirements

- Successfully completed technical education (University of Applied Sciences, HTL, University, etc.) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a similar field
- Several years of professional experience in new product development, ideally with mechatronic components
- Comprehensive knowledge of production technologies, such as sheet metal processing, plastics processing, surface coating, or automation technology
- Confident and targeted application of project management techniques and methods
- Independent, dynamic, and open-minded personality with the ability to solve complex problems using a creative and flexible approach
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken; German is an advantage
