As Austria's largest research and technology organization for applied research, our goal is to make substantial contributions to solving the major challenges of our time—climate change and digitalization. We rely on our specific research, development, and technology competencies, which form the foundation of our commitment to excellence in all areas. With our open innovation culture and motivated, international teams, we work to position AIT as Austria's leading research institution at the highest international level and to make a positive contribution to the economy and society.

Our Center for Energy is seeking additional Ingenious Partners at our Vienna location. At the Center for Energy, we develop sustainable solutions for the future energy system, taking into account technological, regulatory, and economic requirements. Our thematic portfolio is oriented around three central systems: Cities & Built Environment, Public Energy Supply Systems, and Industrial Energy Systems.

Reducing CO₂ emissions, energy consumption, and increasing the use of renewable energies are current challenges for which sustainable solutions must be found urgently. Our dedicated teams work on application-oriented research projects in the field of plant and operational optimization in energy-intensive industries, thereby making a positive contribution to the decarbonization of industry as part of the energy transition and the achievement of climate goals.
