Your tasks – exciting and varied:
- On the routes of the extensive ÖBB rail network, you will operate locomotives with up to 10,000 HP and state-of-the-art railcars.
- You will responsibly and punctually transport passenger trains at speeds of up to 230 km/h and freight trains weighing up to 3,000 tonnes to their destinations.
- You will carry out necessary operational and safety-related tasks.
- Depending on your existing qualifications, you will receive individually tailored further training as well as ongoing technical and operational advanced training.

What we offer – a compelling package:
- A one-time bonus of €5,000 gross (applies only to applicants who have not been employed by the ÖBB Group in the last 12 months) after at least 6 months of employment and successful completion of the exam to obtain an additional ÖBB-Produktion GmbH certificate for all classes A and B on the ÖBB network.
- For the role of "Universal Train Driver," a minimum salary of €45,822.42 gross per year is provided, with an above-collective agreement remuneration of at least €47,865.16 gross per year.
- The standard weekly working hours are 38.5, with overtime being paid.
- Rosters are prepared well in advance, allowing for predictable work scheduling.
- Your shift starts and ends at your designated reporting location.
- Social rooms for relaxation during breaks and overnight accommodation for required rest periods are available at the work locations.
- You will receive performance-based additional payments averaging €600 gross per month, excluding overtime.
- Night work is compensated with a 25% hourly surcharge.
