Your Job
- You are responsible for managing and steering the implementation of complex site and facility construction projects throughout the entire project lifecycle. You ensure the economic, qualitative, and timely execution of projects until successful handover and act as the central point of contact for safety, investment, and maintenance issues.
- You ensure the initiation and proper execution of official construction and approval procedures and represent the company’s interests vis-à-vis authorities in matters related to facility and construction engineering.
- You steer and coordinate all construction activities as well as the collaboration among all internal and external project stakeholders. You lead planning and construction contract meetings and ensure efficient project implementation.
- You develop, evaluate, and are responsible for the implementation concepts of site and facility projects. Additionally, you manage tendering and award processes, oversee cost and schedule controlling, and ensure the achievement of project-related goals.
- You initiate and steer the creation of technical specifications, requirements documents, as well as maintenance and repair instructions. Furthermore, you analyze technological developments and derive sustainable optimization measures for facility management.
- You are responsible for commissioning internal and external services to ensure facility safety, asset preservation, and risk minimization. Moreover, you develop and establish appropriate quality and performance standards for procured services.
- You advise management on technical issues related to facility projects, investments, and infrastructural developments and coordinate collaboration within the project environment.
Your Profile

- For the position of "Expert in Facility Development," the collective agreement for employees of Austrian railway companies provides for a minimum salary of €60,150.16 gross/year based on a working time of 38.5 hours per week.
