As a Certified Accounting Specialist (m/f/d) in the Lower Carinthia region, you have the opportunity to take on a central role in the finance department of an appreciative and internationally oriented company.
Your Responsibilities
- Independent handling of ongoing accounting tasks (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and fixed asset accounting)
- Assistance with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring a proper trial balance
- Support in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, as well as ongoing cost control
- Management of the dunning process and ensuring smooth cash flow
- Execution of payment transactions and serving as the interface with banks, procurement, and sales
- Reconciliation of intercompany transactions and close collaboration with international entities
- Preparation and submission of statutory reports (e.g., VAT returns, intra-community supplies, statistical reports) and coordination with tax advisors and auditors
- Participation in digitalization and optimization projects within the finance department
- Supporting the finance management through analyses and preparation of decision-making bases
Your Qualifications
- Completed commercial education (e.g., HAK, HLW) and several years of professional experience in accounting
- Ideally, a completed Certified Public Accountant examination
- Solid knowledge of Austrian accounting standards (UGB)
- Excellent SAP skills (especially FI/CO) and confident use of MS Office, particularly Excel
- Good English skills for collaboration with international partners
- Structured, precise, and independent work approach
