Are you about to complete your vocational training or degree and would like to combine your thesis with a practice-oriented topic at a large company?
As part of our group-wide platform for theses, we offer pupils and students the opportunity to write their thesis in cooperation with ÖBB. The aim is to address current practical issues in a scientific or practice-oriented manner while gaining valuable insights into a dynamic corporate environment.
The following types of theses can be implemented:
- HTL diploma theses as part of technical training at Higher Technical Colleges
- Diploma theses at vocational secondary schools (e.g., HAK, HLW), implemented in a practice- and project-oriented way together with external partners
- Bachelor’s theses as part of a bachelor’s degree at a university or university of applied sciences
- Master’s theses as part of a master’s degree with an in-depth scientific examination of a specialist topic
The specific topic is developed in close coordination between students or pupils, the respective department, and the educational institution. While working on your thesis, you will be supported by experts from the relevant field and gain insights into real projects, processes, and challenges from corporate practice.
Your Profile
- You are a pupil at an HTL or a vocational secondary school (e.g., HAK, HLW)
or
a student at a university or university of applied sciences (bachelor’s or master’s degree) - You are interested in addressing practice-oriented questions in a corporate context
- You are characterized by an independent and structured way of working
- Analytical thinking and an interest in scientific or project-oriented work are no strangers to you
- You have good German language skills, both written and spoken
