To ensure our railway system functions smoothly, thousands of switches must operate reliably. We inspect, maintain, and repair them throughout their entire lifespan. Your Job
- As an Assembly Technician, you will support the execution of assembly work (conversion) on signalling systems in the railway sector (such as switches) across Austria.
- You will assist with construction and maintenance work in the field of signalling and control technology.
- Furthermore, you will carry out cable assembly tasks, help with the assessment of required materials and equipment, and maintain auxiliary records for construction reports, performance records, test protocols, etc.
- After an appropriate training phase, you will be ready to work as a local construction supervisor.
- If required, you will handle safety tasks.
- You will ensure strict adherence to all guidelines and instructions.
Your Profile
- You have completed vocational training (apprenticeship or technical school) as an Electrical Technician, Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or in a related field.
- You hold a category B driving licence.
- Flexibility in terms of working hours and willingness to undertake nationwide assembly assignments and night work are required.
- You are eager to take on responsibility, advance your career, and acquire new skills (railway technology).
- You possess the necessary physical and mental fitness, including suitability for track and height work (to be determined upon hiring).
Our Offer
- For the position of "Assembly Technician for Signalling and Control Technology," a minimum annual gross salary of €42,807.10 is provided for a 38.5-hour workweek. Willingness to pay above this amount exists. You may also receive a travel allowance of €560 gross per month, depending on the role and deployment.
