Our client, a manufacturing company, is seeking a dedicated leadership personality for Linz.

• Professional and disciplinary leadership of a team of approximately 10 employees in operational procurement
• Ensuring reliable material supply for production
• Responsibility for defined supply chain KPIs, material availability, inventory, and delivery dates, as well as continuous improvement of delivery service and process performance
• Identifying supply risks and initiating appropriate measures
• Further development of forecasts and optimization of planning and inventory strategies
• Improvement and further development of processes, master data, and ERP systems
• Close collaboration with strategic procurement, production, logistics, and quality management
• Leading and implementing transformation, digitalization, and automation projects within the area of responsibility
• Potential future takeover and responsibility for the SCM team (approx. 5 employees) with a focus on transport planning, inventory management, and forecast planning – following a structured onboarding process and in coordination with the supervisor

• Completed commercial or technical degree
• Several years of leadership experience in procurement or supply chain management – ideally in a production environment
• Technical understanding of manufacturing processes and components in mechanical or plant engineering
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP is an advantage) and very good MS Office skills
• Excellent German and English language skills
• Structured, responsible, and team-oriented work approach

For this position, an annual gross salary of at least EUR 85,000 is provided in accordance with the collective agreement for the metalworking industry. Additionally, the role offers an attractive performance-based bonus system. Salary overpayment is possible depending on qualifications and experience.
