Your Area of Responsibility
In this position, you will take on a central role in technical claim and warranty management with suppliers. You will act at the interface between engineering, procurement, and quality assurance and contribute significantly to the sustainable assurance and further development of product quality. Additionally, you will ensure through structured procedures the consistent enforcement of claims and, consequently, the continuous optimization of processes and supplier performance.
Your Job
- Independent management of supplier complaints, including analysis, evaluation, and structured preparation of error data.
- Creation of legally secure and technically sound complaint documentation (evidence, measurement reports, documentation).
- Management of escalation processes (e.g., 4D/8D methods) and follow-up of corrective actions with suppliers.
- Conducting technical root cause analyses and evaluating deviations based on drawings, standards, and specifications.
- Review and enforcement of contractual claims (warranty, guarantees, LCC) including cost preparation and calculation for recharging.
- Close cross-departmental collaboration and contribution to the continuous optimization of claim management and supplier quality.
Your Profile
- You have completed technical training (e.g., apprenticeship with master craftsman/craftswoman, technical college, HTL, university of applied sciences, or university) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or mechatronics.
- Professional experience in claim management – ideally in large construction projects or the rail vehicle industry or railway transport companies – is desirable.
- You possess strong negotiation skills and excellent communication abilities.
- You bring analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
- You enjoy structured, independent, and team-oriented work.
- Good German and English skills are important in this role.
- Proficient MS Office skills (Excel) are required; experience with SAP is desirable.
Our Offer
