To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed and motivated Product Owner – Data & AI Platforms.

Your role, you will...

  • oversee the holistic management and further development of our Data & AI platforms (Microsoft Fabric and Databricks).
  • define the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, ensuring the value-driven evolution of platform services.
  • take responsibility for technical operations, ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of the platforms.
  • ensure compliance with governance, security, and compliance requirements and further develop these in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • be responsible for service delivery according to defined SLAs/OLAs and drive continuous improvement in service quality and cost efficiency.
  • consistently implement BCC Service Management standards and tools and further develop operational processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
  • coordinate development, platform, and operations teams, ensuring efficient collaboration in a DevOps model.
  • actively drive the platform’s further development.
  • empower users through targeted enablement, reporting (Power BI), and data engineering (Databricks) to maximize platform utilization.

Your profile, you...

  • have a completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
  • bring experience as a Product Owner, System Architect, or IT Service Manager in larger organizations.
  • have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (especially Power BI, Lakehouse) and/or Databricks (Delta Lake, Notebooks, Workflows).
  • have experience in platform operations, including SLAs, Incident/Change/Problem Management (ideally according to ITIL standards).
  • are familiar with governance, security, and compliance in the Data & AI environment.
  • understand modern Data & AI architectures (ETL/ELT, Lakehouse, AI/ML) and their operational requirements.
  • possess strong analytical skills and a good understanding of cost management and service costing.
  • work in a structured, hands-on, and solution-oriented manner and stand out through strong communication skills, connecting diverse stakeholders.
