Your Responsibilities
- You design and operate modern client environments for Linux and macOS within a newly established Unified Endpoint Management solution
- You develop concepts for the installation, configuration, security, and standardization of macOS and Linux clients
- You create and manage software packages and ensure structured distribution of applications, updates, and releases
- You continuously optimize processes related to patching, updates, and security to ensure stable and protected operation of endpoint devices
- You work closely with colleagues from IT security, network, and infrastructure teams to implement holistic endpoint solutions
- You analyze and resolve complex technical issues in the client and endpoint management environment
- You document technical solutions, automate recurring processes, and contribute to the standardization of workflows
Your Profile
- You have at least 7 years of experience in a comparable IT position, ideally with a focus on Apple macOS and Linux
- You have managed complex, heterogeneous IT landscapes, preferably in an enterprise or large customer environment with direct customer interaction
- Ideally, you have excellent knowledge of VMware/Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM, particularly in enrollment, profiles, smart groups, product provisioning, and scripting
- You have solid experience with enterprise Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, RHEL, or Debian, as well as their deployment and update processes
- You are familiar with macOS deployment and client management, with Jamf experience being an additional advantage
- You have experience in hardening operating systems as well as patch and version management for Linux and macOS environments
- You have knowledge of certificate management and identity & access
- You possess strong scripting skills, ideally in Bash/Shell, Python, or PowerShell Core, and have experience with REST APIs
- Ideally, you have practical experience in release, change, product, and incident management processes
