Your Tasks:

When introducing new software and connecting existing systems, you are the primary contact for software development of interfaces. The JAVA-based middleware Orchestra is one of your tools for developing digital services and interfaces. Specifically, this means for the position as Software Engineer for APIs with JAVA:

• Defining requirements and subsequent software engineering
• Designing and implementing digital processes and services
• Transferring and transforming data and data flows
• Further developing existing interfaces and services
• Connecting various applications (ERP, webshop, EDI, CRM, CPQ, cloud, etc.) from different business areas such as sales, development, production, logistics, eCommerce, and finance
• Ongoing coordination and consultation with external and internal departments

Your Profile:

• Completed higher education in IT or software development (HTL, university of applied sciences/university)
• Experience with JAVA, APIs, as well as data formats (XML, JSON) and databases (SQL)
• Enthusiasm for new and old technologies and their interplay
• Interest in data logistics and interfaces from a holistic perspective
• Enjoyment in consulting and the ability to explain technical topics clearly
• Communicative personality (also in English)

Our wages and salaries are above the collective agreement (KV) of the electrical and electronics industry. The minimum KV values range between €3,449.08 and €4,993.21 - with a willingness to pay above this. The exact amount depends on your qualifications and experience.
