Your Responsibilities

- Technical leadership of a dedicated application team
- Support in the development of custom PLC solutions based on Bachmann controllers for various industrial applications
- Analysis of customer requirements and development of practice-oriented technical solution concepts
- Technical consulting and support for our customers as a competent contact person for existing and new hardware and software solutions
- Responsibility for the successful implementation of custom customer applications in the areas of PLC, web-based SCADA systems, Condition Based Maintenance, Power Management, Motion Control, industrial communication protocols, etc.
- Support of sales in acquiring new customers and representation of the company at trade fairs, events, and customer meetings

Requirements

What you bring to the table

- Completed degree or training in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics - Several years of experience in the development of automation applications in mechanical and plant engineering - Strong knowledge of structured text programming (IEC 61131) and additional programming skills in C/C++ as well as Matlab/Simulink – advantageous but not a requirement - Strong project management skills as well as communication skills and enjoyment in promoting and developing employees - Experience in technical leadership and mentoring is advantageous - Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
