Your responsibilities:

• Disciplinary and professional leadership of the HSE team of the Austrian country organization

• Coverage of all occupational safety topics including compliance management

• Introduction, administration, and training of HSE tools and procedures

• Ensuring safety standards through regular site inspections

• Conducting internal audits

• Supporting workplace evaluations

• Creating procedural instructions and occupational safety documents

• Responsibility for the areas of hazardous goods, fire protection, and data protection

• Interaction with local authorities

• Further development, maintenance, and upkeep of the integrated management system

Your qualifications:

• Completed technical education (HTL/university of applied sciences/university)

• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in the HSE field

• Professional experience in the chemical industry or process engineering is an advantage

• Completed training as a safety specialist according to the Austrian Employee Protection Act (ASchG)

• Qualification as a hazardous goods and fire protection officer is desirable

• Knowledge of ISO standards 9001/14001/45001 is an advantage

• Certification as an internal and external auditor is an advantage

• Solution-oriented, structured, and strong communication skills

• Initial leadership experience is an advantage

• German as a native language and English both written and spoken

• Good MS Office skills

• Occasional willingness to travel within Austria

The offered salary package:
