Our client, an established manufacturing company in the field of insulation materials and recycling, is seeking an experienced Production Manager (m/f/d) for a key leadership position in the greater Villach area.


Your Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for the economic management of the production facility
  • Safe, efficient, and legally compliant operation of the recycling plant under a lived safety culture
  • Management of shift operations: workforce planning, onboarding, training, and fostering employee development; defining clear goals and KPIs
  • Creation of standardized work instructions and stable process design; implementation of effective measures in case of deviations
  • Production planning and optimization in the areas of quality, availability, waste reduction, as well as energy and raw material consumption; driving continuous process improvements
  • Close collaboration with maintenance, quality assurance, engineering, and logistics; responsibility for safe approvals following maintenance and changes
Your Qualifications
  • Completed technical or technical-commercial education (HTL, university of applied sciences, university)
  • Experience in managing continuous production processes
  • Knowledge of operating a recycling line, ideally with a melting furnace or comparable thermal systems
  • Confident handling of regulations related to waste, environmental, and occupational safety
  • Proven success in the areas of occupational safety, quality, production performance, and cost control
  • Leadership personality with a hands-on mentality, clear communication, and very good German and English skills
