Our client is a service company in Vienna and is looking for a dedicated Senior Compliance Expert (m/f/d).

Your responsibilities:

• Independent handling and review of various contracts (framework agreements, IT contracts, etc.)
• Independent handling of various compliance inquiries (including AML/KYC, insider dealings, professional conduct, etc.);
• Independent handling of inquiries regarding corporate structure (so-called "Supplier Questionnaires")
• Independent handling of data protection law issues
• Management of compliance databases
• Interest and independent analysis of legal developments in compliance-relevant areas (e.g., changes in anti-money laundering regulations, etc.)
• Support of the General Legal Counsel or Compliance Officer in all other matters, including administrative and/or organizational tasks.

Your qualifications:

• Completed degree in law or commercial training
• Several years of relevant professional experience in a senior position within an international legal department or law firm is an advantage
• Relevant further training and professional experience in the areas of compliance, civil/contract law, and data protection law, preferably in a law firm or an (international) compliance/legal department
• Excellent legal knowledge, particularly in the aforementioned areas
• Very good MS Office skills
• Very good German and English skills
• Quick comprehension, commitment, and out-of-the-box thinking
• Stress resistance and resilience, absolute precision, teamwork skills

The offered salary package:
Annual gross salary starting from EUR 84,000, overpayment possible based on qualifications and professional experience.
