What to expect
- Together with the team, you will help shape measures and guidelines for IT security in ongoing operations and play a key role in the creation and implementation of regulations, security solutions, and processes
- You will plan the organizational support and consulting for the entire IT landscape in the field of IT security (penetration testing, security audits, Business Continuity Plan (BCP) tests, vulnerability scans, etc.) and develop security concepts and architectures with us
- Analyzing and continuously improving existing security solutions is also part of your area of responsibility. Additionally, you will actively participate in security response measures and the creation of optimization concepts for IT security
- Look forward to contributing to exciting projects and enriching our existing team with your own ideas
What sets you apart
- You have completed training in computer science with a focus on IT security (HTL, FH/University) or a comparable professional qualification and have excellent German and English skills as well as a passion for working in an information security team
- You bring several years of professional experience in cyber security/information security or have acquired relevant certifications (e.g., SANS/GIAC-GWAPT, OSCP, CEH) and are familiar with relevant standards such as ISO 27001, ITIL, and COBIT
- A solid understanding of security principles such as risk management, incident response, honeypots, access control, and cryptography characterizes you, as do your comprehensive knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and encryption
- Your expertise also includes cloud security, virtualized environments, public key infrastructures, VPNs, and software-defined networking. You have experience in analyzing NIS2 requirements and in deriving, drafting, and implementing internal information security policies
