Your Job
- You develop the employees in the area and are responsible for ensuring the availability, quality, and economic use of all resources in ongoing coordination with scheduling, sales, and production control.
- You are responsible for production targets and deadlines, as well as the continuous optimization of resource utilization, and conduct productivity controlling.
- You ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements (especially ECM).
- You help develop the production area’s goals in coordination with plant development and engineering based on the TS strategy.
- You proactively drive improvement processes (e.g., LEAN production) and are responsible for the practical training of apprentices.
- You are responsible for ensuring and monitoring compliance with the Working Hours Act and all applicable working time regulations, as well as internal and external agreements within your area of responsibility. Additionally, you create and optimize shift models.
- You ensure communication, instruction, and training of staff regarding production processes, as well as the information and instruction of employees to maintain and enhance know-how for optimal order processing.
Your Profile
- You have completed technical/business training and management courses, as well as several years of professional experience in a leadership role in the maintenance or production of rail vehicles.
- A confident demeanor in dealing with internal and external customers is a matter of course for you.
- You are also resilient, flexible, and embody a "hands-on" mentality.
- You have extensive experience in employee leadership and have successfully managed production areas with 80–100 employees. You act responsibly, identify optimization potential, and reliably implement suitable solutions in practice.

- For the position of "TS IH Production Area Manager at the Workshop," a minimum collective agreement salary of EUR 4,296.44 gross/month is provided for a working time of 38.5 hours per week.
